Affiliation with PAWA

Pickleball Association of Western Australia Inc. (PAWA)

Pickleball has been growing rapidly in Western Australia since its first introduction at Belmont Oasis in 2016 as a corporate sport.

The sport has seen the incorporation of a State association in November 2020 which is recognised by the national peak body (Pickleball Australia Association Ltd – PAA) as the State peak body for Pickleball in Western Australia.

The development and establishment of playing venues and clubs in both the Perth metropolitan area and regional centres has seen a consistent growth in the number of participants and high community and media interest in the sport during this period.

In line with the national approach to engaging with clubs, businesses and other entities, there is now an opportunity for your organization to affiliate with PAWA which facilitates a variety of outcomes that support the sport, your activities and PAWA’s promotion and development of Pickleball in Western Australia.
